Introduction: Greenwood High, a prominent ICSE school in Bangalore, prides itself on providing top-notch facilities to its students. One of the jewels in their crown is a state-of-the-art 750-seater amphitheater/auditorium that serves as a hub for various cultural and academic events. However, the audio system in the auditorium was outdated and failed to meet the demands of modern performances. To address this challenge, Greenwood High sought the expertise of Waveguide Systems, for their efficient and innovative solutions.

Client Requirements: Greenwood High required a complete overhaul of its audio system, aiming for enhanced sound quality, seamless audio coverage, and ease of operation. The project timeline was demanding, as they wished to minimize disruptions to the auditorium's activities. Waveguide Systems was entrusted with delivering the project within a tight deadline of 36 hours from procurement to installation and commissioning.

To ensure consistent sound coverage throughout the auditorium, Waveguide Systems strategically positioned JBL line array speakers. These speakers offered precise control over sound dispersion, minimizing reflections and optimizing audio clarity. To deliver powerful and immersive low-frequency sound reproduction, Waveguide Systems integrated JBL subwoofers. This addition provided a well-balanced audio experience, enhancing both music and speech clarity. We employed advanced DSP technology to fine-tune the audio system's performance. This allowed for real-time adjustments, ensuring optimal sound quality for various types of events. Control units were seamlessly integrated into the system, enabling efficient power distribution and centralized control over audio settings. The intuitive control interface allowed school staff to easily manage audio settings, adapting them to different events with ease.
